Dear All,
My father is battling covid-19. He was diagnosed with covid earlier this month and followed doctors advise and took all recommended medicine, after few days he was admitted to udhay hospital in hanmakonda warangal. But unfortunately things did not improve and they advised us to move him to better facility in hyderabad. Due to unavailability of beds in all government hospitals, we had to choose the immediate available option of private hospital at sunshine hospital secunderabad. He has been admitted to ICU and is still in ICU. Everyday my mother goes to visit him for 1 hour during visitation hours. Doctors are saying that he is stable but needs to remain in ICU for now. We inquired about the final bill estimate to make necessary arrangements and as per the hospital it will be at least 10 lakhs for the entire treatment as per his present condition. we have sold our agricultural land and were able to pay 2 lakhs so far and that is all we had. My father has been an activist for most part of his life (last 20 years) and our livelihood source is my mothers vegetable sales from day to day. At this tough time we are seeking all the support that we can get to meet the hospital bills. Kindly support and spread the word to any individuals/groups/communities who can help.
