My SISTER  (Rajalakshmi KS, mother of two kids aged 5 and 1.5yrs) is suffering from a rare medical condition SLE ( Systemic Lupus Erythematosus).

SLE is a disease where in the body’s immune system attacks its own body. Raji currently has peri-cardial effusion, Lupus nephritis and fluid in lungs. Her kidneys are not functioning because the immune system has destroyed the kidney cells (causing the fluid from the blood not getting removed as urine).
These fluids are currently building up around the heart and therefore heart is not able to function properly. She is unable to sustain breathing on own (also due to the fluid buildup) and is currently on ventilator at Ernakulam Medical Trust Hospital.

The expense incurred is very high and we have reached a stage where it is becoming impossible to find a means. We are looking to relocate her to General Hospital but has not been successful so far.

Ventilator and ICU : ~ ₹60,000/-
Medicines : ~ ₹40,000/- (Upto the said amount or more depending on the medication prescribed)
