We conduct free eye screening camps and free Cataract & Glucoma surgeries for poor people. With an increase in the aging population, the number of people affected by cataract and/ or cataract-related blindness is also expected to increase. In every camp, at least 50 people are screened and on average 25-30 people are operated for cataracts. The camps are overseen by medical professionals and counselors and those identified as requiring help are put through further tests. If they require and are fit for surgery The money raised shall be utilized to conduct free cataract surgeries for the needy and poor people across will continue to conduct eye screening camps and cataract surgeries in the above locations, along with the expansion of work in some of the backward districts of which are relatively underserved where fewer Non-Governmental Organizations are working towards eradicating cataract.
