One of our dearest colleagues, Rahul Teja, all of 23, was unfortunately down with a severe form of Dengue Encephalitis.
Dengue encephalitis is rare and occurs as a result of direct infection of the neurons by the dengue virus.
More about Dengue EncephalitisHe was in a state of unconsciousness since the morning of 24th August.
He had been admitted to the ICU and had been on life support systems in the ICU in KIMS Hospital in Kondapur, Hyderabad and was shifted to the ICU in Apollo Hospital for further treatment.
Doctors were providing him Intravenous immunoglobulin to see if that helped in fighting the infection.
The cost of the treatment sums upto around Rs.15 lakhs and we were working very hard to collect this amount.

We have unfortunate news to share. Rahul couldn't make it as his liver and kidney organs suddenly failed. His brain cells also shut down and he passed away. May his soul rest in peace.
His family is completely drained of their financial resources and desperately looking for financial support.
In this difficult time of loss and sadness, we can extend our kindness and support to their family which exhibits our love, care, affection sympathy and Gratitude for his family. There is no one who can fill this void, however, we would stand by his family in this irreparable loss and help them in all possible ways.
