Kindly read and understand our situation.
I'm Radhakrishnan SS, 23. I'm a hip-hop recording and live performance artist from Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Due to Covid 19 and eventual unforeseen events, me and my family had to deal with unprecedented financial circumstances. My mother, widowed in 2000, is a nursing assistant in Govt. W&C Hospital, Thycaud, Trivandrum. She is at the verge of suicide right now, thanks to a debt of 20 lakhs INR taken as loan from individual money lenders. Of which, 5 lakhs INR is required immediately to deal with these lenders. On top of this, we also have bank loans of 12.5 lakhs INR, society loans and recovery, all of which are deducted from her salary, which is already reduced because of salary cuts due to Covid.
She and her brother are the co-owners of the house that we live in (Chackai, Trivandrum). He won't help the cause, and is abusive towards the rest of the family, because of which the situation is very intense. Mother did all the work in building the house. Owing to salary cuts and the prevailing situation, the income of money is barely enough to keep us afloat. No securities like deed (aadhaaram) of the house, vehicle, or gold, rendering us unable to take another loan.
We are thus desperately in need of financial help, and the biggest security is her Government job, which enables us to provide a promissory note agreeing to pay it back by 2 years, as Post-Covid, Government funds can be availed.
