This fundraiser is for my good friend Radhakrishnan. In all the years I have known him he has been a pillar of the community and never shied away from helping anyone. But now he needs the support of everyone in overcoming the difficulties that have come on him. Radhakrishnan has NONALCOHOLIC LIVER CIRRHOSIS which has reached a stage where liver transplant is the essential and urgent requirement.
WHY SUPPORT?
•    He’s a RETIRED person with a medical insurance cover which is grossly INADEQUATE and most of it has already been utilised due to the CONTINUOUS HOSPITALISATION.
•    The success of this transplant depends on the skill of the surgeon. Both the donor (HIS DAUGHTER ) and the patient are at RISK after the surgery so the BEST CARE IS ESSENTIAL.
•     The basic cost of the surgery which is 22 lakh has to be supported with ADDITIONAL FUNDS due to the pre and post-operation care which will be provided in AMRITA hospital Kochi.
