Qareeb in Urdu means very near. Qareeb Foundation was created with a vision to be very near to anyone who needs help and support in any way. Qareeb Foundation works majorly in the field of Education, Hunger, and Malnutrition. Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behavior to understanding one's rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen.
When the whole world is fighting critical Corona Virus war, Many people and their families are finding it much more difficult to deal with the situation with limited resources. Your funds will support us to supply Food, Medical support and Other Essentials to these people who stay in poor slums and are helpless in fighting this pandemic.
We have a team of volunteers who are daily providing groceries to around 25-30 families. We provide them with a kit which contains
With the additional funds we will be able to reach out to more families and help them in this tough situation.
These families are dependent on daily wages and they don’t have any money to buy groceries.
Operations
-We have a team of volunteers who cover all major part of the city
-We verify the request ( so that the help reaches only genuine people )
-We are getting full support from local police
- our volunteers are wearing masks and gloves and are maintaining proper distance while delivering
- along with delivering we are spreading awareness about corona virus- Do’s and Don’ts
