Pushpa, 32 years old, lost her husband Manjunath on 15 May 2021 after a difficult battle with Covid. This has completely exhausted her family's finances. Her late husband was an auto-driver and the main bread-winner of the family. The lockdown resulted in severe loss of income over the past year, even before he passed away.
She has two school-going sons aged 13 and 10 years. She has to support the family's livelihood and education of her kids.
Pushpa has requested help to cover her housing costs that can enable her to work, earn a living as a domestic helper and support her children. She has not been able to pay her rent for the past three months and the landlord requires a steep deposit for her continued stay.
