My name is Mayank Kumar, and I am raising funds for my mother, Punyasheela Kumari, who is bravely battling 4th stage breast cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment at Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre (a unit of Tata Memorial Cancer Research Centre Hospital) in Varanasi.
Despite our best efforts, we still need Rs. 28,00,000 to cover the remaining medical expenses, including planned immunotherapy.

My mother, a 51-year-old kind-hearted woman, has spent her life caring for her family. Since her diagnosis, she has endured the trials of chemotherapy with immense strength and resilience. For the past one and a half years, our lives have been shadowed by the spectre of her illness as we witness her valiant struggle.
We began her treatment journey in a private hospital in Patna, where she first received her diagnosis. However, the complexity of her condition required a transfer to Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre in Varanasi for specialized care. This transition has taken a heavy toll on us, both emotionally and financially.

Our family, consisting of five members, has done everything possible to ease her journey. Frequent hospital visits led to me losing my job, and we had to shut down our family business due to the high emotional and financial stress.

With medical expenses soaring to approximately 28 lakhs, we have exhausted every resource at our disposal. I had to make the agonizing decision to leave my job to be by her side and support her through the painful procedures.

Unfortunately, we can no longer fund the treatment by ourselves and are standing on the precipice of financial distress. An additional 28 lakhs are required to cover the medical expenses—a sum that looms like an insurmountable mountain before us.

In this time of dire need, I turn to you, dear friends, with a humble request for your support. Despite trying all means possible, this fundraiser is my last resort. Please help me afford my mother's cancer treatment, including the planned immunotherapy. Your kindness can help her see better days.
