Sometimes we don’t know what we had until it’s gone.

With a heavy heart, I announce the untimely demise of my Mama, Arun Kumar. This fundraiser is to support my mama’s young family and his three daughters’ (5, 7, and 13 years old) education. Being the only bread earner, his absence is going to make survival very difficult for the family if timely help and support are not provided to them. What was a happy and loving family a few days ago is now shattered to pieces with his loss.

He was brought up in Purnia, Bihar. My Mama was loved by everyone around him. He struggled and worked hard all his life to support his family. Despite struggling financially, he never made us kids face difficulties. He’s an inspiration to many in Purnia. From giving out food to the needy to financially helping his friends and family, Mama always thought for the others. He was no less than a hero. He made everyone laugh around him with his jokes and surprise dance numbers. My mama was a fun-loving person and always believed in spreading love and happiness.

 
He is survived by his wife Punita Kumari, 5-year-old daughter Deepika, 7-year-old daughter Arunita, and 13-year-old daughter Ritika. This is an irreparable loss for his young family. All of us are in shock and still grieving. Nothing can fill the void of Mama’s sudden passing away. However, we can all get together to contribute towards his family’s welfare in these difficult times. This fundraiser will help support the education of my mama’s three young daughters.
