The healthcare workers who are the frontline warriors in our battle against Covid-19 are in desperate need of your help! Maharashtra, which has the highest number of cases at 128, is facing an acute shortage of N-95 masks Personal Protection Equipments (PPEs) for its doctors and nurses across the state.
The N-95 masks and PPEs are critical to protect our healthcare workers and allow them to continue providing treatment to those infected. They will also prevent them from getting infected, unlike Italy, which has observed a significant rise in infections and deaths (over 7,500 at last count) because of a lack of protection for its doctors and nurses.
Project Mumbai, a leading and trusted NGO in the civic engagement domain started by Mr. Shishir Joshi, is helping the Government of Maharashtra provide N-95 masks and PPEs to healthcare workers through this campaign.
