In 2019 Priyabrat  created and self funded How Long is Forever- an ensemble contemporary dance piece. The piece is an experiential journey for the viewers and speaks about the physical energy as a medium of oneness and collective stillness.The journey created  for the viewer is both experiential and ephemeral, speaking to the coexistence of these realms and drawing on the trust and dynamic relationality that is natural to the manifest human state. It believes in the transformational ability of the physical energy and treat it as unifying force for its viewers. 

The physicality is dynamic and athletic and yet meditative and filled with gravitas. The corresponding film for the piece has recently been selected at the 'Greensboro Dance Film Festival' in North Carolina, USA and makes our conviction stronger in the potential impact of this work.  We now seek to develop this piece into a full length work and garner support & required resources for its production. Creative processes are a labour of love and need persistent commitment and deep dive into the process for something relevant to emerge from the same. Studio hours,  collaboration & mentorship, commitment of time by individuals, technical support (light & sound), are the initial resources that would let us get on this explorative journey and  help us in fruition of a nuanced and relevant dance work. Through this campaign we seek to raise the support and the mentioned needed resources to allow us to go ahead with this passion project.  Our intention behind this crowdfunding campaign comes from the intention to keep this creative process independent of the demands of a single donor, and hence allow us to be true to the piece and take the creative responsibility for its development. 

We strongly believe in the power of live performances and the constructive role it plays in shaping our social, political & spiritual discourses. This campaign believes in the power/goodwill of art patrons and the community to come together to fund and collectively own a creative process and its performance.
