In the words of Gamaliel Bailey:
Never respect men merely for their riches, but rather for their philanthropy; we do not value the sun for its height, but for its use.
This charity is dedicated to a great philanthropist who can be compared to the Sun who has always enlightened us with his noble ideas and thoughts. Late Shri Durga prasad Pandey who is no more with us but his noble ideas and philanthropist thoughts would always live with us in our hearts and soul. Though this Sun has set his good deeds will remain forever on this earth to cherish upon.
One more quote here I would like to put forward that Philanthropy is not about money, it’s about feeling the pain of others and caring enough about their needs to help.

This quote fits well on our beloved Shri Durga prasad Pandey who always felt the pain of others as his own and was always keen on helping people in misery and suffering. He always lent a helping hand to downtrodden people to uplift them in society with welfare deeds by giving money to the needy and poor and by providing work to the unemployed. He used to conduct Yagya and hawan every year which included bhoj to more than 50000 persons. This bears the testimony of his religious nature and philanthropist attitude. He was a true animal lover too. He had kept a number of cows in his Gausala and milk which was obtained from these cows, is distributed to needy and hungry people free of cost. Despite such a rich person he never showed arrogance.
So we want to carry forward this legacy. We, the members of this charity, have taken this responsibility on our shoulders to help needy people in this time of pandemics that have deteriorated the conditions of already poverty-afflicted people. We request you to contribute towards our charity so that we can utilize your money to provide food and basic amenities to such persons who have no access and cannot afford food for even one time in a day.
