My name is Jaritha Hegde and I am here to raise funds for my husband Pravin Bhaskar Hegde who is 45 years old.
Pravin is suffering from Peri-ampullary Cancer for the last few months. He underwent Whipple surgery for tumour removal. He was further diagnosed with Tuberculosis lymphadenitis and Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). Recently, after his first cycle of Chemotherapy, Pravin suffered from acute massive bilateral pulmonary thromboembolism (Blood Clot in Heart and pulmonary arteries) and had to undergo Pulmonary Embolectomy.

Pravin has been re-admitted to Apollo Hospital, Bangalore and he is being treated for reoccurrence of DVT. Until now, we have spent about Rs.15,00,000 which was managed through Insurance, savings and family support.
Pravin is an IT employee but he has not been able to get back to his work for the past 7 months due to his medical condition. He is the sole earner of our family. We have a daughter who is 7 years old.
Considering Pravin's current medical conditions, there is a need to make frequent hospital visits for treatment. In order to support his treatment and family, we are raising this fund.
