My brother 's(19 yrs old) life has changed ever since January. As he complained of rashes and fatigues couldn’t hold his regualr routine normally. It was always bent forwards.

The doctor prescribed a few medicines and advised us to feed him green vegetables protein and iron foods for a few days. However, his condition worsened further.  When we took him back to the hospital, he underwent a few tests.
After hours of waiting, we were told that our brother was suffering from apml cancer and having immature wbc . We couldn’t believe it. Everything became blurry. The word cancer echoed in my ears and it was beyond my belief.
It included painful blood transfusions in addition to antibiotics, bone marrow investigations and other supportive medicines.

My brother was admitted to the hospital for the first 3 weeks of his treatment. Now we regularly take him for the chemotherapy session.
We were informed that our brother's treatment that will continue for the next 1.5 years will cost a massive Rs 10 lakh . This sum is way beyond the reach of a lower-middle-class family like ours and we will never be able to afford
