I am a 3rd year Undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-D). I recently got selected as one of the 300 delegates from all over the world for the very reputed HPAIR (The Harvard Project for Asian & International Relations) - Harvard College Conference which is at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA from 15 February'19 to 18 February'19.
This is my first ever foreign exposure that I have earned due to my merit and constant hard work. Also, this is my first crowdfunding campaign and I seek your help and blessings so that I can make it successful.
Even small donations matter as it is not the monetary value but it is your generosity and emotions to support the cause.
I have been selected to represent India for the panel of Energy and Environmental Sustainability and to discuss and find solutions for the problems that exist in Asia.
My background in a nutshell,
I come from a humble family of doctors and I am the first one to get into the most prestigious college of the country, that is the Indian Institute of Technology, better known as IIT. I have been meritorious throughout my high school and even in college.
I have hosted some of the biggest entrepreneurs including Uber's CEO (Mr. Dara Khosrowshahi) and Twitter's CEO (Mr. Jack Dorsey). I have also been the part of formation of IIT's first Student Incubation Center (SIC) for incubating and funding young entrepreneurs and their startups.
Brief overview of HPAIR (The Harvard Project for Asian & International Relations) - Harvard College 2019 : "Asia’s astounding growth over the past decade has not been without challenges. Solutions to sustainable development remain elusive; alarming human rights abuses against women, refugees, and the LGBTQ community remain unanswered; rising wealth inequality, catalyzed by globalization, remain unaddressed. The 2019 HPAIR Harvard College Conference will offer a platform to cooperatively confront these emerging challenges in Asia through dialogue and exchange that transcend geographical and cultural borders."
The details of the estimated expense are :
Registration fee : $350 (till 11 Jan,2019) (24,680 INR)
Accommodation charges (Cheapest fare): $120 (INR 8,528)
Visa fee : $160 (INR 11,371)
Flight (Cheapest fare) : INR 70,456
Total : INR 1,15,035
