When Prashant Chaturvedi, a 27 year old boy suddenly got paralysed, his whole world came crashing down. The young Prashant was brimming with joy when he completed his graduation. He was finally in a position to support his parents who struggled their entire life to educate him. One day, in the blink of an eye, his whole life changed and his daily mundane tasks became impossible to perform.

Prashant was diagnosed with Paraplegia in 2018 which initially made his lower limbs weak. He was admitted to a hospital for a few days but later had to be discharged as the family could not afford the treatment. Prashant’s condition has worsened since then and now his body is paralyzed from the waist down. He is completely bed-ridden from the past two years and is looked after by his elderly parents.

A few days back, Prashant suddenly fell unconscious after he experienced shortness of breath. Though he survived the horrible incident that day, his life is now at more risk than ever. The doctors say that he immediately needs a life-saving surgery that would cost around 8-10 lacs.

Prashant’s family is finding it difficult to even afford treatment for their survival now.
