He has met with an accident & he has been suffering from severe head & chest injuries for the past few days. His elder sister Punam Bharali too got injured severely. Both of them were travelling in the same car when a bus came and hit the car when the car was trying to cross the rod. As a result of the collusion Prasenjit and Other co passengers were badly hurt and had to be taken to the nearest hospital. 

It was government hospital and they immediately asked us to shift the patients to a specialty hospital. The collusion resulted in giving various internal injuries to both the siblings. Punam had her pelvis fractured as well as internal bleeding in the stomach. Whereas Prasenjit had various ribs broken, internal bleeding near the chest, brain hemorrhage was persistent despite being in ICU since 4th June.

Doctors have said if the internal bleeding doesn't stop then they might have to perform surgery on bith the patients. He is currently admitted and receiving ICU Care at a private hospital in Dibrugarh, Assam. We've already spent a huge amount on their treatment by arranging all the expenses from our savings and loans until now but we have exhausted them all.
