My name is Rasmita Nayak, and I am raising funds for my husband, Prasant Kumar Nayak, who is battling a severe and complicated pancreatic condition. His reports show acute necrotizing pancreatitis with extensive walled-off necrosis (WON), areas of pancreatic tissue loss and large collections around the pancreas. He has also developed complications involving the portal and splenic veins, along with fluid accumulation in the abdomen (ascites) and compression of the right ureter causing mild hydronephrosis. His condition requires prolonged and intensive medical treatment.
Prasant has been hospitalised for more than a month and has already spent over 20 days in the ICU. He was initially treated at KIMS ICON Hospital, Visakhapatnam, then shifted to IGKC Multispeciality Hospital, Bhubaneswar, and is now receiving critical care at Manipal Hospital, Bhubaneswar. He continues to require intensive monitoring, procedures, drainage, medicines, investigations and other specialised treatment. The doctors have advised that he may need to remain in the ICU for approximately another two weeks.
My husband is the only earning member of our family. We have two children a daughter and a son who is currently studying in Class 12. We have already exhausted the available amount from our insurance card(INR 15,00,000) and have spent around ₹5,00,000 from our personal savings, along with arranging money through loans and help from relatives. We have now reached a point where we are struggling to arrange the further treatment expenses. We are raising ₹35,20,000 to continue his treatment. ପ୍ରଶାନ୍ତ ଗତ ଏକ ମାସରୁ ଅଧିକ ସମୟ ଧରି ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସାଧୀନ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ୨୦ ଦିନରୁ ଅଧିକ ସମୟ ICUରେ କାଟିସାରିଛନ୍ତି। ପ୍ରଥମେ ତାଙ୍କୁ KIMS ICON Hospital, Visakhapatnamରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା, ପରେ IGKC Multispeciality Hospital, Bhubaneswarକୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରାଗଲା ଏବଂ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ Manipal Hospital, Bhubaneswarରେ ICUରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ଚାଲିଛି। ତାଙ୍କୁ ନିରନ୍ତର intensive monitoring, drainage/procedures, ଔଷଧ, ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ବିଶେଷ ଚିକିତ୍ସାର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ରହିଛି। ଡାକ୍ତରମାନେ ଆହୁରି ପ୍ରାୟ ଦୁଇ ସପ୍ତାହ ICUରେ ରହି ଚିକିତ୍ସା ନେବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିପାରେ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି।
ମୋ ସ୍ୱାମୀ ଆମ ପରିବାରର ଏକମାତ୍ର ରୋଜଗାରକାରୀ। ଆମର ଦୁଇଟି ସନ୍ତାନ ଜଣେ ଝିଅ ଏବଂ ଜଣେ ପୁଅ, ଯିଏ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରେ ପଢ଼ୁଛି। ତାଙ୍କ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ଆମର insurance cardରେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ available coverage ଏବେ ସରିଯାଇଛି। ଏହା ସହିତ ଆମେ ନିଜର ସଞ୍ଚୟରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ₹5,00,000 ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ କରିସାରିଛୁ ଏବଂ ଧାର ଓ ସମ୍ପର୍କୀୟଙ୍କ ସାହାଯ୍ୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଟଙ୍କା ଯୋଗାଡ଼ କରିଛୁ। ଏବେ ଆଗକୁ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ଯୋଗାଡ଼ କରିବା ଆମ ପାଇଁ ବହୁତ କଷ୍ଟକର ହୋଇପଡ଼ିଛି। ତାଙ୍କ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ଜାରି ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମେ ₹35,20,000 ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଛୁ। ଦୟାକରି ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ୟ ଅନୁସାରେ ଆମକୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତୁ। ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଛୋଟ ଏକ ଅବଦାନ କିମ୍ବା ଏହି fundraiserକୁ share କରିବା ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ ପାଇଁ ବହୁତ ବଡ଼ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ହେବ।
