Fatima, a 62-year-old widow source of livelihood was set afire by protesters in north-east Delhi’s Khajuri Khas. Her worry? Daughter’s wedding.
A resident of the slums near Khajuri Khas junction, Ms. Fatima sold fruits on a wooden cart for a living, which on Monday was set ablaze. The burnt and destroyed fruits lying on the street told a wretched story.
The fund which will be raised through this will be given to Fatima to help her rebuild her life.
All of us can come together and help Fatima who had her only source of livelihood burnt.
Our initial target is to raise at least Rs 50000 for her to come over the loss she suffered in the violence and anything beyond that would help in her children's education.
