After a while, when there was no such project going on anywhere else as far as I knew, I decided that I myself would try to provide females with sanitary napkins and make them aware of its uses and advantages and many such pros, no matter if it is a rural or an urban area. All that mattered was a necessity.
I’ll be honest here, it took me a lot of courage and time to act on my decision, but eventually, it happened and it could be no better than my own village ( Gaura, Jigna, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh- 231313) to start off with. I bought pads and sanitary napkins, organized awareness gatherings, sometimes had to go door to door as well, but it all went much better than I could ever expect. Of course, I had donated pads and sanitary napkins previously also, but as an independent worker, or reformer or whatever you wish to call, it was my first time.
ince then, I have become a part of many such campaigns and to be honest and candid, these campaigns need financial support, for it is the backbone of any such campaign. So, I on behalf of many who would request you to support and who actually need it, would request you to contribute with any amount of your choice and become a part of an initiative.Your contribution matters to many. Please do consider contributing.
