On the morning of 24th December, Prakash suddenly suffered a severe medical emergency. His wife found him unable to speak or move and immediately rushed him to a hospital in Pune. Doctors identified a critical stroke and transferred him to Sahyadri Multispeciality Hospital, Nagar Road, where he was diagnosed with a massive brain hemorrhage caused by a ruptured blood vessel. Nearly 60–70 ml of blood had accumulated in his brain, creating life-threatening pressure.
Prakash underwent emergency brain surgery (decompressive craniectomy) that saved his life. He spent more than 11 days in the ICU, required ventilator support, and is now recovering with severe paralysis on the right side, limited movement on the left, and unclear speech. Although he has been shifted out of intensive care, his recovery will require months of continuous neurological care, rehabilitation, and another surgery to reattach the skull bone removed during the emergency.
Prakash is the sole earning member of his family. His wife is a homemaker, his mother is bedridden, and there are no other sources of income. With Prakash unable to work for the next 3–6 months and medical expenses rapidly increasing, we are trying to raise ₹15 lakhs for pending hospital bills, upcoming surgery, and intensive physiotherapy. I humbly request your support to help my friend recover and rebuild his life. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
