Schools are reopening again and we are looking to resume our Quality Learning Initiative across 96 schools in our program sites of Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. It has been a long wait, but our children have finally gotten the opportunity to go back to face-to-face sessions in classrooms, and through social interactions with their classmates and teachers.
What is Kalikayatna?
Kalikayatna or the Quality Learning Initiative is Prajayatna’s learning approach to help children build on their innate capabilities and support them in achieving capability based learning outcomes as determined by all concerned stakeholders.

Why do we need your help?
Prajayatna is looking to raise INR 5,00,000 for classroom supplies as part of the Kalikayatna initiative, which will help provide 8000 kids across 75 schools in Uttar Pradesh, and 2700 kids across 21 schools in Karnataka. These supplies will help them continue their learning process via our holistic, capability-based and inclusive learning model.
Every rupee donated will go towards funding learning materials for these children.

- Teacher upskilling - Collaborative learning platform for teachers to come together, share best practices and evolve their teaching methods
- Community engagement - Setting a parent and stakeholder engagement framework to help create a holistic learning environment for the children
- Monitoring process - Creating a robust monitoring structure to review and evaluate the functioning of the school

- 2 notebooks per child at INR 20 per notebook = INR 4,28,000
- 1 stationery kit (pencil, eraser, sharpener, scale) per child at INR 10 per kit = INR 1,07,000
How you can support:
- Cost for 1 child: 2 notebooks and 1 stationery kit(pencil, eraser, sharpener, scale) = INR 50
- Cost for 10 children: 2 notebooks and 1 stationery kit = INR 500
- Cost for 50 children: 2 notebooks and 1 stationery kit = INR 2500
