    This fundraiser will benefit

    Poor Children

    from Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Hi all, I’m Hitesh from Chennai and I'm raising funds to pay the school fees for 11 children who are studying in different matriculation schools across Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kanchipuram. 7 out of the 11 children are living in a single parent household.

For too many families, access to education and opportunities for employment are severely limited which is why underprivileged parents with low income are struggling to meet daily needs and giving education to their children has become a tough situation for them.

I request you to come forward and donate to this needy educational cause. Your donation & encouragement during these testing times would help them believe in their potential and inspire them to overcome this situation in future and I’m sure after a couple of years, these parents will be able to manage to pay the fees by themselves.

Please find the below complete details of all the parents, children, school names, area & as well as the total school fees. You can refer the attachments of fee receipts which will match the total amount I’m raising.

The total amount is INR 2,39,610 & I'm planning to reach this amount before July 15th 2022 in order to ensure that all the parents pay the fees and their children can go to schools without any worry.

Thank you for taking your time to read this & showing your timely support during these challenging circumstances. You have no idea how much this means to me as I have heard the struggling stories of all the parents & I think they just deserve the right kind of motivation at this time.

If you are unable to donate, not an issue - kindly share this campaign on your WhatsApp status, Facebook timeline, Instagram story & as well as Twitter feed. Happy volunteering! :)

Some FAQs for clarity:

1) Why are the children not studying in Government schools?
A - I believe we can't force or restrict someone to study in a particular school, the parents of the children have decided to admit their child in a nearby private school and since they are unable to pay the fees this year, they have come forward to seek support.

2) Who are these children & how did you get to know them?
A - Since 2017, I have organized many field campaigns in Chennai slum areas about the RTE (Right To Education) awareness and have helped 1000's of parents get RTE admission in private schools. People who were ineligible to apply for RTE contacted me to check if I can help them. RTE admissions only starts from class LKG. Get to know more about RTE at ilavasakalvi.in

3) Are these requests verified & have you spoke to the parents?
A - Yes, I'm in touch with all of the parents and can confirm they all are genuine requests.

4) Are you promoting private schools?
A - No, I don't have any intention of doing that. I'm trying my best to help parents who are in need of help.

PS - If you have read this far, please can you pass on this to your friends in other countries where they can donate in Dollars, Pounds & Euros. We would need foreign donations as well since this is a huge amount to be raised.
