Additionally, the second wave of COVID-19 has also impacted most of the households and villages in these areas. They are still struggling and recovering from the pandemic. The after-effect of “Yaas" has increased their struggles many folds. People once again need our support to survive these twin tragedies of nature.
I, Tridip Auddy, along with will some of my friends and associates, Suvojit Saha, Sayantan Auddy, Atanu Kr Ghosh (Manik da), and Sukhendu Banerjee, are trying to raise funds to help people who are most affected economically due to these natural calamities. The lockdown situation has further worsened the situation as people, mostly the daily wage labourers, are struggling to arrange food for their families.
We are all members of Rotary International, one of the largest NGOs in the world. For the last few months, we have undertaken multiple projects to provide food and groceries to these needy people in these affected areas. But it is always a struggle to raise funds.
We sincerely request you to kindly support us in helping these people as they don't have any other source. Any support will significantly help our cause.
Do support us to support more. Please donate before 20 July, as we will be hosting the distribution event on 25 July.
