The unprecedented lockdown to control COVID-19 has caused ripples everywhere in India. Especially Kerala, being the most impacted state in India with this Virus outbreak.  Among society, the hardest hit are the daily-wage earners, the poor, invalids, and those undergoing palliative care.
Through our NGO, Plan@Earth https://planatearth.orgwe are distributing food kits and daily meals to families and palliative homes. A single kit for a family for one whole month is INR 1000.

AABTP6605K is the PAN card number.

So far, we have managed to support 200 families. However, there are still many people we have not reached. The local Panchayaths are also short of funds as it is the end of the year.  The community kitchens are running on donations and food rations may come.. but it might be too late, as even if rations come, labourers will not benefit.
We appeal to your goodwill for donations, even the smallest contribution can make a large scale impact.
How the funds will be used:
1. Kits worth INR 1000 will be together (including 5kg of rice, 5kg powdered rice, 2kg wheat flour, 500 gms lentils, 500gms chickpeas, 500gms brown beans, 100gms green chillies, garlic, ginger, packs of tea leaves, 2kg sugar, 1 pack salt, potatoes) These kits will be readied in grocery stores. Identified deserving beneficiaries will be intimated and can come and collect these kits.
2. Every village has set up community kitchens to cook and serve for invalids and families under quarantine. However, they lack supplies. We arrange these supplies to the kitchen for x number of days.
3. Centres that offer palliative care have plenty of patients in extreme pain, such as terminal stage of cancer. The centres need supplies for patients and caregivers. We can supply provision in bulk to these centres.
4. Migrant workers are stranded all over the country. They are unable to work and they cannot go home because the curfew was declared without notice. Nearly 25000 are on the verge of starvation in Kerala and are penniless. We can buy bulk supplies and set up collection stalls in places like Aluva and Perumbavoor.
