Piyush Pandey is a sincere and hardworking student pursuing B.Sc. Agriculture at Janta College, Bakewar (Etawah). He comes from a very poor farming family living in a small village near Sitapur. Getting admission to a government college was a big opportunity for him, and that is why he moved to Etawah with the hope of building a better future through education.
Piyush’s father is a small farmer who earns only after crop harvest. With great difficulty, he manages to send ₹10,000 per year for college and hostel fees, which he can still somehow afford. However, after recently paying the academic fees, he is unable to afford the mess (food) charges.
The mess fee is ₹2,500 per month, totaling ₹30,000 per year. For the last 5 months, the mess fee has not been paid, and this month’s fee is also pending. The college has warned that if the dues are not cleared soon, Piyush’s mess facility may be stopped, which will seriously affect his daily meals and studies.
At present, there is an urgent need of ₹17,000 to ensure that his mess is not discontinued.
Piyush is the only child in his family. At home, there is an elderly grandmother and an elder uncle. The entire household expenses are managed solely by his father, making the financial situation extremely difficult.
If you all can help with this urgent amount of ₹17,000, Piyush’s father will be able to manage the remaining mess fees after the next crop harvest. This immediate support will help Piyush continue his education without having to worry about food.
Piyush is not asking for luxury.
He is only asking for basic meals so that he can continue his studies with dignity.
