As we all know the present Lockdown has led to a serious dent on the livelihoods and incomes of several daily-wagers, poor and other marginalized sections of our society.
While we feel bored and locked within our comfortable homes or or apartments, there are thousands and lakhs who are starving to have even two times' good meal in this time of crisis. Though government and administration are doing lot of efforts on their part, but still there are many who are left out of the formal help ecosystem.
Thus we, the Corona Warriors team (consisting of many doctors, civil services aspirants, selected civil servants and other members), have started an initiative called MY FOOD HELP AGAINST COVID 19. Under this initiative, we will be providing FREE OF COST good quality hygienic FOOD and Home Ration to all these needy people.
As of now initiative is being run in NCR and Nainital but soon we will expand in other areas based on financial pockets and volunteers presence.
So we request you to contribute as without adequate contributions we will not be able to sustain it across lockdown period.
We have estimated costs of Food/Person basis as well as Home Ration/family basis at about ₹ 4000/ 100 food packets and ₹250/ one Home Ration kit for a 4 member family (including all kind of costs up to last mile delivery).
You can ADOPT 5/10 Persons (or 2-5 families for Home Ration) for 10 days or directly deliver 50/100 food packets based on above estimates and your willingness. We will try to do it in utmost professional and safe manner as far as possible.
