Story

"The purest necessity of a happy life is good health."

Why should you donate to our cause?
  • Every year, around 827,000 people in low and middle income countries die as a result of inadequate water, sanitation and hygiene.
  • In a country like India where majority of the population lives in areas with improper sanitary conditions and lack of facilities, this crisis has had a cascading effect and has taken more and more lives each year.
  • We have decided to tackle this problem in the best way we possibly can (including putting together and providing hygiene kits, and creating informative videos in accessible languages) whilst spreading awareness about its seriousness.
Why is hygiene important?
  • Good hygiene lowers your risk for diseases and illnesses commonly spread through viruses and bacteria.
  • Good hygiene is key to preventing infection when wounds and skin irritation are present. Good hygiene prevents you from spreading bacteria and disease to others, including coworkers and family members.
  • Good hygiene is crucial to good overall health and wellness because it helps lower the risk for disease, illness, and medical conditions caused by the effects of poor hygiene.
We have tied up with the NGO Down to Earth and we are speaking to some more NGOs as well. We will be distributing hygiene kits to the beneficiaries of those NGOs, and the kits will include the following:
1. Vim soap
2. Dettol hand sanitizer
3. Dettol bar soap
4. Dettol hand wash
5. Bandaid wash proof
6. Rin clothes bar soap

The funds will only be used to purchase these items, we will assemble and deliver the kits by ourselves so there will be no cost for that.
