We are deeply saddened by the passing away of our beloved colleague, Peeyush Gupta, earlier this month.  He was way too young, and survived by his wife and 10-month old son.

Peeyush joined us in March 2020 as a Developer Advocate and more recently transitioned to a Solution Engineer role. He was on top of the technical issues of our platform, and has been a pillar in establishing the high standard of our Solutions Engineering effort. His passion for our customers was a great model for us all, and I'm confident his impact on DO will endure.

In an effort to help his family ease into this difficult time of grieving and in the spirit of DO Love, we decided to set up an education fund for his 10 month old son.  The donations from this fund will go directly to enabling and securing future education for Peeyush's son. We are opening this fund to all DO employees, as well as members of the open source community (of which Peeyush was an integral part). Please note, this is completely voluntary; Donation size is to your own discretion and will be confidential.
