I'm Barbie, a 2-3 year old Indian breed dog who was destined to born and survive on the roads. I was born on the roads, cold and hungry, next to a frail mother who could barely feed me. Somehow, I was able to survive my puppy stage but my siblings couldn't. They lost their lives one after another.
One day, I was sleeping when a car ran over me. I was jolted awake by the wrenching pain that shook my entire body, I could feel my bones cracking at multiple places and I knew this is it. I'm gonna die and I wanted to, the pain was too much and at last, everything went dark. But I guess I was a lucky girl. Parul, the girl who used to feed me everyday saw me on time, picked up my broken body and rushed to the vet. I survived but I was paralysed. I couldn't run, walk, jump, even needed help to pee and poop.
After months of care and treatment, I got treated! I felt like my old self but completely lost the skills to survive on the roads again.
I was names Barbie and I thought, people would come forward to adopt me because why not! I'm a brave girl, shy but very brave. I'm good with people, other dogs even cats. But sadly, after months of trying, nobody wanted to provide me a little space in their heart and home. Parul, my rescuer can't continue to keep me because she needs to save others like me. She barely has space in her house.
There are chances of finding a home in Canada through foreign adoption but i need money for that. Please help me. I know it's a lot of money but I need it. If you all save me, Parul can save others.
The breakdown of the costs is as follows:
Micro chipping: Rs. 2,500/-
Ticket (for human volunteer, split into the number of dogs travelling with them): Rs. 35,000/-
Paperwork (export permit and health certificate) :Rs. 3,000/-
Excess baggage charge: Rs. 33,000/-
Crate: Rs. 8000/-
Boarding charges : 12000/- per month
I hope you can help me reach my forever family. I just want to be a normal puppy again, and every donation, no matter how small, counts.
