Hi... This fundraiser is for Paras, a wonderful kid living in a village in Goa who has overcome all odds to be able to live a normal child's life. We need the funds to help him hear again as his cochlear implant processor has stopped working and he now needs a new one. Paras is the only son of Mandar and his wife who are both deaf and mute. Like them Paras too was born with a Profound hearing loss in both ears. But with help from relatives and wellwishers he was able to undergo a Cochlear Implant surgery. Now after a lot of effort by his grandparents to provide training he can hear and speak like other children and also attend a regular school. But without his Cochlear implant processor he is unable to hear or to attend school. I am his audiologist and speech therapist and am trying to help the family collect funds.
