Parameswari lost her father when she was less than a year old.  Her father killed himself leaving a huge debt and six children with his bereft wife. Brought up single handedly by her mother Valli, Parameswari is a bright student who has scored 358/600 despite her extreme living conditions. Parameswari belongs to a nomadic community. Most of this community live in extreme poverty and marginalisation.

 Like Parameswari we have 31 bright eyed young people from the nomadic communities who's college dreams you can realise!

They come from very poor backgrounds, culturally and socially isolated and surviving on meagre resouces and yet they have vouched their trust into education.

I've been working with children from the Nomadic communities for the past fifteen years and I need your help to send a bright eager batch of very under priviliged children through good College courses.

Its our childrens resolve and all of your support in the form of Vanavil that has enabled us to produce the very first graduates and that too many girl graduates from this Nomadic Community.

We come to you seeking support to pay the college fees for 31 students. 13 of them enrolled last year and have to pay their second year fees and 18 of them are to enroll this year.

Vanavil helps them through their school education, and give them career guidance and are now training them for entrance exams and admission interviews. We follow up with them through their college years and also train them in Communication and Life skills and employability.
