Hi My name is Pankaj. I'm born and brought up in a small town of Digboi- Assam and currently staying in Gurgaon. We were a family of four- Father, Mother, Sister and me. I was a high school student and one day we got the news that my father has been hospitalized and is admitted in AMCH (Dibrugarh). He was suffering from abdominal ulcer and for his treatment which continued for 5 years and unfortunately, he didn’t survive. All our savings along with my mother’s jewelries were invested. Even after getting financial support from relatives and friends we still were in huge debt. Since last 3 years I'm still repaying the debts and in order to get out of this burden I started taking loans from application-based lenders.

Now I'm in such a position that I've missed the repayments of the EMI's and me and my mother are receiving calls from the collection authorities. I have no backup, no savings. I’m sole earner in my family. I'm suffering mentally. I've been getting into depression and suicidal thoughts, but when I think about my lonely mother I step back. I’m currently working as a customer support and my salary is not sufficient enough to repay the debts and taking care of my mother.
