Having worked for 7 years in the private sector, I quit my job in December 2018 to start for the cause of social entrepreneurship. I will be opening this in the Dehradun valley outskirts and will help the regional people with the regular jobs and also the sales proceed will help them with meeting the needs for the medical treatment, construction of family house, marriage expenses of their children.
The whole idea of setting this Eco village is as follows:
1. Purchase/lease a farm land on the outskirts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
2. Develop the farm for producing bell papers, organic vegetables and sustainable crops which will be exported to markets in India/Abroad to higher returns.
3. The sale proceeds will be used to pay out to the workers who will be supporting the farm.
4. The profits derived will be deposited to a reserved fund which will target each year to provide proper house to the workers.
Additionally, if the farm grows well, it will be my endeavor to create a new house attached to the farm which will help the travelers stay while visiting the city.
WHY THIS ECO VILLAGE:
The reason why i chose this cause as this will be an effort to help the farmers who work tirelessly day and night and yet we hear them die anonymously.
By developing this model, i will enhance and exercise more effort on the development of the farm land which will act as both the resource for growing the food products organically and also the village model will help us attract tourism and we will be able to generate revenue.
Having the funds ready will help us to let the farmers and other people learn about the new ideas of agriculture and increase their produce.
Also will help them be able to stand together to help them in the times of need.
The organisation will set aside funds for their development not only for the day but for the long run as well.
We will reaching with this concept to other states like Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and so on where the farmers life are pathetic but no one is aware of them as that is not covered in the daily media.
