I'm R.Rathikrishnan (P.Sadees-my uncle), and my grandfather (by mother's bloodline) met in an accident last week(15/7/2022 at morning 9.30am ). Initially he was admitted in (15/07/2022 @5.00pm) Theni Government Medical College and Hospital, K.Vilakku, Theni, Tamilnadu. But, the treatment was not even initiated after two days of accident(17/07/2022  upto afternoon) they just treated as a normal injury they not even examine completely.And, the duty doctors were not even responding properly, cheif doctors hesitate to meet with patients attendors. So,that my uncle (P.Sadees S/O S.Palanivel)decided to shift my grandfather to private hospital, where he not eligible to apply CM relief fund scheme for accidental cases.But, in private hospital my grandfather get proper treatment (in Theni Govt hospital doctors identified only Three injury and they keep on repeating the same story on two-three days). He is currently treated at PREETHI Hospital (P) ltd, Uthankudi, Madurai, where treatment will cost around 4-6 lakhs (approximate cost at initial consultation it may go higher based on severity of the injury) and here the doctors adviced to retake all the tests and scan, the reports says the details and clarity and of the injuries identified with multiple fractures( Cervical bone fracture, Chest fractures at both right-one bone and left side-three bone alongwith internal bleeding, left shoulder fracture, spinal cord fracture, and internal organs damages too kidney and liver at grade 2 level damage) happened bellow the neck and there is no sensation bellow his hip. Please, I request you to contribute to the medical expenses. Herewith I have attached an MRI report.

PS: my uncle is running out of savings. Also, his fellowship stopped in last December 2021(Stipend from IIT Madras) he is doing his research study at IITM.

Please forward it to your friends Circle as well as known people circle to reach maximum number of people.  I modified this message as on (20/07/2022@7.40 pm) Just matter of four days the hospital expenses crossed Rs.3.5 lk.  the day, date of 21/07/2022 the second stage operation was done by Dr.VN Sudheep Kumar and his team, the spinal cord injury was done smoothly and they implaned supportive plates and clamp and screw in spine. The sensation of the bellow hip will take time based on responses to the medicine taken by patient. The doctor recommended the patient must be hospitalized furthermore 20-30 days for physiotherapist treatment. Here with I enclosed recent MRI REPORT and diagnosis summary for my grand father's injury and recent bill copy too.

After Saturday's treatment my grandfather was shifted from ICU to normal ward.But, unfortunately he got severe respiration he struggling lot to breath, then the doctor checked and take him again to ICU. There he underwent all the tests and concluded, the rate of mucus is too much inside the lungs and heart region, so that he unable to breath easy. Right now he is in ventilator support it cost Rs.30K per day apart from that ICU charge, doctor fee, medicine cost will be there. The Oxygen level was reduced during the respiration, but once the vendilator provided he turn back to normal condition.

UPDATE ON 01/08/2022

Right now he is under support of ventilator, each day we spend around Rs.60-75k (ventilator cost plus ICU charge, doctor fee, medicine cost, medical aid cost) approximately. The post effect of ACDF as well weakness in his rasparatory muscle region still under healing stage.Due to combined effect of this both my grandfather recovery time take more time and doctors also unable to provide duration of this ventilator support. My uncle almost bankrupt there is nothing in his hand as of now, so please come forward and support him at this hard time.

UPDATE: 16/08/2022

Dear friends and well wishers,my grandfather was once again shifted from normal ward to ICU. He got lower oxygenation level,higher heart beat (130-150), and excessive secretion in lungs portions. Right now he supported with ventilator,I already mentioned per day it cost Rs.30 K/ ventilator alone. The medical expenses already crossed Rs.12.5 lakhs/-.My uncle don't know enough amount to taking care of my grandfathe, so please be share this message once again, and circulate with your friends.

Still my grandfather is treated in ICU, I tried all the possibilities with myself and friends. My uncle also tried his best possible ways to generate fund, he is completely drained out of money. so please forward this message with your friends and family. the total expenses crossed Rs.14.5 lakhs as of now (24/08/2022), still he need Rs.5-6lakhs for further medical care and treatment.
