We are three Teach For India fellows teaching in a low-income private school (Mount Everest English High School) in Bangalore. We teach 80 students from the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Most students in our school come from the underprivileged communities and are largely lagging far behind in grade level learning. In addition to that, our schools lack basic learning resources necessary for an efficient learning experience. Moreover, our students have come back to their physical classrooms after almost 19 months during which they had become habitual of a virtual learning system where they had visuals aiding their textbook material. Since our students are in their elementary grades, it's extremely important to have a smart classroom that can help bridge the learning gap and also make them understand concepts easily. This fundraiser aims to equip our classrooms with audio-visual aids such as projectors, white screens and Bluetooth speakers.
Please help us create a stimulating learning environment for our children.
