We are MARS, an animal welfare organization based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for injured and homeless animals. Over the years, we have opened our doors to 580 rescued dogs, each one carrying a story of survival. Among them are over 200 paraplegic dogs who have lost the use of their limbs, 150+ blind and elderly dogs who have nowhere else to turn, and countless others who arrived broken but full of spirit. Every single one of them deserves proper care and a dignified life.

To provide the level of medical attention these animals urgently need, we are raising ₹20,00,000 to procure essential diagnostic equipment — specifically an X-ray machine, a scanning unit, and blood work infrastructure. Right now, every diagnosis requires us to transport fragile, mobility-impaired animals to external facilities, causing them unnecessary stress and delaying critical treatment. Having these machines in-house will allow us to act faster, reduce suffering, and improve recovery outcomes for our most vulnerable residents.
