Introduction:
Aging is an inevitable process, and many elderly individuals face neglect and hardship in their later years. Recognizing this need, Life Care Old Age Home in Grassmore, Nagrakata, District Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, is being constructed to provide a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for senior citizens. This initiative has been taken by Social Justice for International Civil Rights Council & Sarthi Credit & Cooperative Society to ensure a holistic and sustainable living facility for elderly residents.
Objective:
The primary goal of this project is to reconstruct and upgrade Life Care Old Age Home to accommodate senior citizens in a compassionate and well-equipped environment. 

Our objectives include:

• Providing safe and comfortable accommodation for elderly residents.
• Ensuring quality healthcare services for physical and mental well-being.
• Creating a socially engaging atmosphere to prevent loneliness and isolation.
• Implementing sustainable financial and operational models for long-term stability.

Scope of Reconstruction & Facilities to be Provided:
1. Infrastructure Development:

• Renovation of Existing Buildings – Strengthening the structure, improving ventilation, and ensuring accessibility.
• New Residential Blocks – Additional rooms to accommodate more residents.
• 24/7 Electricity & Water Supply – Uninterrupted services with solar energy backup.
• Security & Safety Measures – CCTV surveillance, fire safety systems, and secured premises.

2. Basic Living Facilities:

• Comfortable Accommodation – Well-furnished single and shared rooms.
• Nutritious Meals – Specially curated diet plans based on health needs.
• Hygiene & Sanitation Services – Clean restrooms, bathing areas, and laundry services.
• Personal Care Assistance – Support for daily activities like dressing and grooming.

3. Medical & Healthcare Services:

• 24/7 Medical Assistance – Availability of doctors and trained nurses.
• Regular Health Checkups – Routine physical examinations and monitoring.
• Medication Management – Ensuring proper administration of prescribed medicines.
• Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation – Specialized care for mobility and recovery.
• Emergency Ambulance Service – Quick access to hospitals when needed.

4. Recreational & Social Activities:

• Indoor & Outdoor Activities – Yoga, meditation, games, and light exercises.
• Entertainment Facilities – TV, music, library, newspapers, and internet access.
• Social Interaction Programs – Cultural events, group discussions, and outings.
• Gardening & Hobbies – Encouraging residents to participate in engaging activities.

5. Emotional & Mental Well-being Support:

• Counseling Services – Mental health support for depression and anxiety.
• Religious & Spiritual Support – Spaces for prayer and meditation.
• Family Interaction & Engagement – Facilitation of family visits and virtual communication.

6. Additional Essential Services:

• Legal & Financial Assistance – Help with pension schemes, legal matters, and documentation.
• Transportation Services – Arrangements for hospital visits, shopping, and personal trips.
• End-of-Life Care & Hospice Services – Compassionate care for terminally ill residents. 

Budget & Fundraising Plan:
To successfully execute this project, we estimate the total cost to be INR 31,13,000.00 Lakhs. The funds will be allocated as follows:
