Story

Join Hands to Save The Movement.

We all are a part of a MOVEMENT. A movement that has moved our inside and helped us create the life we are living. That one movement has impacted our life in ways more than more. A movement called the Universal Solidarity Movement.

With an aim to build a civilization of love, USM has been selflessly operating for the last 28 years. To build youth and the country, it has given everything it had. From sweat to sunshine, USM has given it all.

Now when the world has been hit by COVID-19, it has also hit the movement severely. COVID-19 and lockdown forced to cancel all the training sessions for the youth in Universal Solidarity Movement at Indore. The Movement which was being sustained by the income from the training sessions is now facing a serious crisis of sustaining the mission.

To keep up the movement spirituality, contrary to the institutionalism, USM opted not to own any land and property. From the last 28 years USM is organizing its programs from a rented building. Throughout the year several groups of students, teachers and principals used to come for one week residential leadership training and retreats in USM community. USM believed in raising funds from its training programmes to meet the expenses of rent for the building, salary of the staff, publications and other activities.  USM which had opted to live by daily labour is stuck. The funds required for paying the rent for the buildings, salary of the staff who were serving with dedication for many years and other essential expenses has now become a challenge.

In the words of Father Varghese, “USM is in ventilator now and it needs oxygen to live.”
This is to urge you to think and act now. This is that one movement which has stood by us at all times just to make us believe that we are created to make a difference. It has contributed to create moral commandos and agents of change.

Let us come in solidarity to save the movement. No matter how big or small, each contribution will matter. This is the time to give back in every possible way we can. Each contribution will matter and help the movement stay alive.  Let’s reflect and act to save the movement that shaped our life.

USM has envisioned setting VISION 2040 which dreams of having 500 Members of Parliament and 3000 MLAs in different states who received training from USM. It dreams of 600 IAS and 600 IPS officers who would be administering 600 districts of India by 2040. It dreams of 100 IFS officers working as ambassadors in different countries working for world peace. It dreams of hundreds of judges, lawyers, journalists, heads of educational institutions who would be living and promoting the value system learned from USM. It dreams of hundreds of business men who would be practicing ethics and morality in their business and be sensitive to the poor and the marginalized. And it dreams of a society with responsible citizens who are determined to preserve the SOUL of India.

You and I are a part of this dream. Let us be the U in USM and save the movement.

Together we can keep the mission alive and continue to create a positive impact in the world.

Please join hands and do your bit to save the movement.
