The Indian Karting Championship 4th edition is a GO KART design, manufacturing and racing competition initiated by the Nexus Motorsport, Pune. We will have to design, fabricate and race the vehicles by their own without any assistance of faculty adviser or professional engineers.
The 2019 CBIT KRATOS TEAM consists of 17undergraduate students of third year Mechanical engineering from CHAITANYA BHARATHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, GANDIPET. The vehicle is a single seat track GO KART that is powered by a BAJAJ PULSAR 150 CC engine. The vehicle has to pass several tests and tasks that will decide team’s position in the competition. The vehicle is scored according to its performance.
The aim of the project is: To develop and fabricate a prototype which meets the competitions specifications and standards.
In the Recent qualification round which has been conducted on 21st August we stood 14th position out of 80 teams.
We have put our own money in this project but unfortunately we don't have enough funds to complete the project yet.
