The story of this fundraising is one to uphold a promise, a promise to change the lives of all the kids I met, worked with, and played with during my trip to rural Ladakh in the summer of 2023. Working closely with the 17,000 Ft. Foundation, my mother and I signed up as volunteers to not only explore a part of India I've never seen before but to also aid in the education of rural Ladakhi children. After seven days, we had accomplished a lot: the Kids had written a book, constructed a short play, and, most importantly, learned Simon Says, Head-Shoulders-Knees-and-Toes, and Zip Zap Zoom. With all this accomplished, my mother and I sat with the teachers as well as several other local volunteers to ask how else we could help them. A clear answer was through donations.
With this, we set up a Website, contacted whoever we could, and made a promise to the kids to fundraise enough money to make their school a better place.

All proceeds of this fund go directly to the transportation and purchase of many items that will benefit the school: 4 Musical Instruments, 12 Sets of Tables and Chairs, 3 White Boards, 1 Vacuum Cleaner, and the salary of a Music Teacher. Additionally, this money will aid in the restoration of the playground, which include the reparation of their swing-set, 2 football goal posts, 1 cricket set, and a table tennis table, paddle, and ping pong ball.
