Nilesh Dnyandeo Tarange is a State Level Archer, who dreams and aims to represent India at the Commonwealth games and going forward Olympics, to win a Gold Medal for India.

But, Nilesh, a natural talent in Archery, can be robbed of his dream as he cannot afford to buy a professional Carbon Recurve Bow.

Nilesh has dedicated years of his life to Archery and currently practices and participates in Archery events using a Wooden Bow. Only with sheer talent, grit, perseverance, extreme hard work and support of his coach, friends and family, Nilesh has used his Wooden Bow to win 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.

Nilesh Taranges Journey in Archery
Nilesh was preparing for his MPSC Exams, like many other aspiring students who wish to work for the Govt. Of Maharashtra. During his MPSC Preparations, Nilesh got introduced to the sport of Archery and his world changed forever. Nilesh, a natural talent at Archery, honed his skills further during the Covid-19 period when he practised in the mornings and evenings as well to improve his game and take it to the next level.

Around this period, Nilesh met Mr Juber Pathan, Nilesh's Archery coach, a turning point in his Archery journey, who went on to become his biggest support system. Nilesh's family comes from a humble background and his parents initially felt that sports and Archery will distract Nilesh from his MPSC Preparation, so they didn't support him in the beginning.

Even his friends, preparing for MPSC with him, ridiculed his decision to choose Archer, saying it's too late for him to practice and succeed in a sport like Archery. Nilesh proved them wrong and under the able guidance and support of his coach Mr Juber Pathan, he went on to win 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medal at various Championships.

Your Support for the Archers Future
Nilesh dreams and aims to represent India in Archery and strike Gold at International Level, but without proper equipment and a Carbon Bow, even a genuine talent like Nilesh has very little chance to make it to the international level.
 
Nilesh's father, Dnyandeo Dashrath Tarange, works as a driver and his mother, Sindhu Dnyandeo Tarange, a homemaker. He also has siblings, Omkar and Reshma.
With Nilesh's hard work paying off and his recent medal tally, even Nilesh's family and friends have started supporting him in his dreams. Mr Juber Pathan, as a coach continues to be the mentor force in his journey towards glory in Archery.

The Carbon Recurve Bow costs Rs.261140 and stands between Nilesh and his dream to represent India, eventually winning gold for the country. It would be sad if yet another talent like Nilesh doesn't realize his Olympics dream, as he didn't have the right facilities and equipment.
