My name is Nila. I am a social activist working towards improving the well being and welfare of the Transgender community in Chennai. During these testing times, I took the initiative to facilitate provisions for a 1000 individuals in Chennai. Being a transgender myself, I can fully understand the pain my community would go through to earn their bread in this moment. Most of the community have been daily wage earners and they have lost their livelihoods because of the lock down. It is difficult to sustain this lifestyle and our community does require your support to get through this.
So far, we have raised a lakh and forty thousand through this platform and we still have a long way to go. It is vital to raise at least 6 lakhs to achieve our goal of providing for a 1000 people. I sincerely request you to contribute within your capacity for this cause.
