We require INR 60,000 by the earliest so that we can procure the raw materials (LINK) and assemble a prototype, titled Oxigen 1.0 (LINK). By running tests on this prototype and tweaking it to obtain the necessary purity and flow rate of Oxygen that can be administered to ill patients, we will finalise a design which we will then be mass-producing.
The estimated cost to build and test the prototype is INR 60,000. Since shipping costs are not fixed, we will be needing a buffer of INR 10,000. Fabrication costs are also not fixed since vendors might not be available, so an additional buffer of INR 10,000 is required. We are also including an INR 20,000 buffer for an oilless air compressor, without which our system cannot function.
Ultimately, in a month's time, we want to build a product that can be sold for INR 20,000. This is 3-4x cheaper than the products currently being imported.
