Prof. Girish Joshi; our beloved respectful faculty of the mechanical department of MPSTME NMIMS unfortunately passed away on 21st May 2021 due to Covid. He was an intellectual and equipped professor with an optimistic personality.

He continuously updated his pedagogy with rapidly changing needs. From driving in fundamentals of Engineering Graphics in 1st year to equipping final year students in advanced Nanotechnology; from inspiring penchant in academic research to guiding National teams for the win, he did it all with compassion. We still remember the concepts of reverse Engineering he taught us and how designing & mechanics can be simplified in the easiest possible ways. He was kind, enthusiastic, patient & an eternal pillar of support. He will be in our hearts forever & will be missed deeply.
We are truly grateful to have been mentored by Girish Sir. Gone from our sight, but never from our heart.
