We have focussed on providing an exposure to education, folk dance, paintings in addition to other extra-curricular activities. While the men folk work as daily-wage labourers, the women supplement their income by stitching clothes for which they are paid on a daily basis. Attempts are also being made by us to provide a basic education to the children.
As of now, there are 42 families residing in Keru village near Sursagar. They have never troubled me for anything. Up till now, all the work was being managed by my children and me. On a regular basis we try to provide employment to the women. We need funds to be able to pay salaries, provide for medical and sanitation needs and education.
The outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic has made it difficult for us to feed the families single-handedly. We request a helping hand from those who are interested.
