My Name is Neeraj Kumar and I live in Delhi, Extremely devastated by all the news coming in from #Assam and other parts of India.
It's a very crucial situation where innocent people are losing their lives.
This is the time when we unite our self as an independent citizen of India and help our people out there who are stuck and don't have shelter. Though Central and State govt is helping people to rescue and provide food & shelter.
Nearly 8.7 thousand individuals across twenty-one districts in Assam are affected
A Severe Flood Situation occurs when the river's water level is equal to or greater than the forecasting site's danger level but below the forecasting site's Highest Flood Level.
Currently, Brahmaputra is flowing above its danger-mark at Guwahati, at Nimatighat in Jorhat, Tezpur in Sonitpur and Goalpara and Dhubri towns, it said.
Burhidehing river is flowing higher than its danger mark at Khowang in Dibrugarh,
So I request my fellow citizens to come forward and donate a little bit if you feel like you can make some impact on touching lives.
Any donation is going to help people out there for there food, medical, shelter and other needs. Any amount which you will donate either big or small is going to help them in a big way.
The collected amount will be transferred to the chief-minister relief fund.
