Neeraj, a vibrant 19-year-old, is currently in his second year of pursuing a B.Com degree while juggling a part-time job as a porter to support his family. On 1st February 2024, tragedy struck when Neeraj was involved in a serious accident while delivering a package on his scooty. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and hospitalized at Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute in Paschim Vihar. Since then, he has been admitted to the ICU and dependent on a ventilator. Neeraj has sustained a complete paralysis of his body, with a C5 fracture in his cervical spine. Each passing day in the ICU stretches on like an endless journey, each breath a battlefield in the fight for survival.
Neeraj is known for his outgoing personality, enjoying activities such as exercising, traveling with friends, and embracing new experiences. He has been dedicated to his studies and work, being a pillar of support to his family and shouldering the financial responsibilities with his father Mr. Ganpat.
