Mumbai, a city of dreams...Samundar ki Nagri. It’s a place where people come from all parts of the country come to fulfil their passions and dreams. Some have a dream of becoming an actor or a director or a pilot and some just to live a #bindass life. From a 5-year-old kid to a 50-year-old man, everyone here dreams of being big and successful. But how many actually touch the door of success? The financial capital of the nation and India's largest city where every day more than 1000 people migrate from different cities, how many can find an opportunity?
We at Camp Diaries, believe that with holistic education that equips the kids with the 21st century skills and makes them INDEPENDENT LEARNERS, every kid stands a chance to CREATE their own opportunities.

Words like passion, compassion, and determination are deeply rooted in our Mumbaikars, yet only 78% of total population is getting educated? The biggest question is, "Are they all getting quality holistic education, does the present education system make them an independent learner?"
To make these kids independent learners and to provide them enough confidence to take on the battles of life, we have established Camp Diaries in Mumbai. We conduct camps in Government and Low-Income Private schools and teach co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as Art & Craft, Drama, Dance, Music, Brain Games, Computers, Crazy Science Experiments and Public Speaking through which, we strive to equip the kids with the very necessary 21st century skills. Our curriculum which is built in making kids take a step towards sustainability is also designed to impart great values and ethics.
The journey of Mumbai CD started with a small team of 5 and has now expanded to a team of 50, which definitely was not an easy task because our motive is not just to create impact but to make meaningful connections too in that process. Now our volunteers and kids have become our extended family. Let us tell you the greatest reward our volunteers get…the kids saying, “Love You Didi!” and “Bhaiyya, come soon, please!”  Your support to us and the kids will mean a lot to the new chapter of Camp Diaries in this City of Dreams.

WHY DO WE NEED THE FUNDS

Funds and resources are essential for us to be able to support our camps and reach a large number of students across the nation, and do justice to the learning.

The funds raised will be used for arranging:
- Resources like Guitar sets, Art and Craft Kits, Speakers, Math Games and Puzzles etc which are not just used for teaching the activities, but also are left at the schools for the children to practise.
- Logistics of our camps. (Venue and transportation for showcase, resources etc)
- Volunteer Engagement.
